So less than 30 minutes ago, the first ever waive of monthly invoices went out to both my business customers and blog users. So far, the blog users are beating out my business users 1-0 (Thank you Ian for being the first person to pay.) I would like to take this moment to remind all of you that payment for the bloggers is in fact optional. That friendly email you got was intended for the business clients of mine.
So that said, those of you who have decided to pay, let me know what you think of the system. What would you change? Do you like it? What do you like?
In other news, I leave for Nebraska tomorrow. That will add to the excitement of the fourth… Ok, so probably not, but it\’s worth mentioning anyway. I\’ll probably post more tomorrow before I leave, for now I look forward to hearing comments on the system.
Hey while I\’m searching for comments, anymore on rinsemarks?

I was the second to pay. Maybe this will mean that I will get the changes that I need changed on my site, just like paying customers do.
Woo! First one in.
I really liked how simple, and quick the process was (though when getting money from people you want them to think it's quick and easy. So, good job there).
The only thing I would have liked, and this would be weird to see the way the thing is laid out now, would have been able to pay more if I would have liked. But that would make little sense since we're paying for an invoice of $5, not an invoice of $flexible.
I don't know, some months I just feel extra generous and would like to support this wonderous service as much as finances allow (though this month $5 was all I could afford, but there might be a time I'd just like to throw you like $20).
ANYWAY. I thought it was quite nice, quick, easy, and I feel all important and whatnot having to log in through the jrcorps site.
Thanks a ton, and keep up the awesome work.
*note to self, get Dan something to show appreciation for all he's done with my site over the years*
another comment… i don't think that the From: should have been 'root'. it sounds like something that i wouldn't want to open.
Ok. I'll leave a comment. 🙂
I love the layout, like I told you on the phone this morning. Very nice setup and design. Maybe I'll try rinsemarks. Have fun in Nebraska.
I'm glad you like the design John. I'm still surprised that it took you til now to see it (the page has looked like that for over a month). I will set the monthly billing thing to send out as JR Computer Associates Billing System next time.
As for you Ian, thats on my list of things to do. It will have 2 options: Donate and Credit. If you credit, it will go into your account so that the next time billing comes around, you won't have to worry about it. Donate will just go into our bank. Sound like what your looking for?
Also, we all love Dan. It's to bad he keeps going missing this summer :-). Although you should see what me and him did to the server room. I think we should take a picture at how clean and organized it is once again. We even have a nifty desk setup again (even cooler than last time.)
The page hasn't been like this for a month, Justin. Silly boy.. maybe three weeks, but definitely not a month.
I found a bug with RinseMarks.
If your viewing your bookmarks online (rinsefirst.com/bookmarks/username.html) and you click on a post from the Recent 10, it points you to the wrong page. Probably something to do with relative paths in html.
I don't have a gravatar! I have to get one!!
