After what has seem like a day of hell over here (which included server issues, unsolvable code, and way to many phone calls), I was putting some finishing touches on a site while watching the World Series of Poker on ESPN2. A commercial for PokerStars came on feature Mr. Daniel Negreanu (a poker pro).
I don’t normally watch these commercials intently, but something caught my attention out of the corner of my eye… So I went and confirmed I wasn’t seeing things… Sure enough, there is something rather large on Daniel’s finger in a 1 second shot of him playing poker.
The question is what is it? I’ve included a picture below:
I have 2 guesses as to what it could be.
1) Something measuring his pulse. I don’t know what kind of software exists for comparing your pulse against your poker playing, but non the less, intriguing.
2) Some sort of authentication device to allow him to get special access to pokerstars/whatnot.
If you know what it is… I would love to learn (it looks like something I should have ;-)).
