What I Got For Christmas Part 6 – $25.00 George Washington Dollar

I get a lot of money around Christmas, from various family members, etc. Some are gift cards as well. Among all of them though, one gift from my Grandma stood out: A $25.00 roll of George Washington Dollar Coins:

These coins have already come in handy for me in multiple situations and well… are just cool… Namely:

  • Since they are coins and not cash, they help me *not* to spend the money at the bank or what not.
  • Since they fit so nicely in the coin purse of my wallet, they are always there when I want a bottle of pop.
  • They seem to work in vending machines all over the place
  • They just look cool

So here’s my advice… If you are giving less than $40.00, and are looking for a nice number (like $25.00). I would take a look at these coins… They are just so dang cool… And heck, I here they come in tons of presidential forms at this point (George, Tom, James, etc.)

Perhaps I will edit my post:

Since they fit so nicely in the coin purse of my wallet, they are always there when I want a bottle of pop.
