This amazing gift came from my sister Amy.
That’s right, it’s a copy of Tengen Tetris for the NES. I don’t think most people know the significance of this game so I guess I will do my best to explain why it has been something I’ve wanted for so long:
- It’s Tetris… Justin is a Tetris freak right?
- The game is consider very rare – Why? Well to make the long story short, it was release for a very short period of time before Nintendo sued Tengen and won. Tengen was forced to pull the copies not yet sold off the shelves, and destroy them (as I understand it).
- Did I mention it was Tetris?
- Its a game missing from my NES collection.
- Really… It’s Tetris?
One of the coolest gifts I’ve ever gotten from my sister. Someday, I will have to return the favor.
