Destroying Part of One’s Business

As many of you know, I have been slowly but surely migrating my clients, friends, and self to new hosting. This was done primarily as a decision to stop doing web hosting all together.

It’s weird though. I loved hosting these sites. I mean the late night trips to minneapolis weren’t all that fun. And the idea that at any moment in my life a server could quit on me and I would be forced to stop what I was doing to get it back up. You never really knew when one would act up… no matter how new.

But still, it sadden’s me to no longer be hosting sites like tumbledry. I mean, even before I had a webserver, I was hosting these guys…. It was just fun… And it was a pleasure to know that I was helping these guys out.

In any case… I write this solely because I just now read Alex’s August 11th post on Tumbledry… You will be missed… You all will be (including myself).

I will miss being hosted with you! Those were great times! Best of luck with marriage and business in the times ahead. 🙂
