Seems my Dad’s side of the family has hit a run of bad luck the last week or so.
Last night, my Grandpa’s primary farming shed went up in flames. They believe it was an electrical short. For those of you who don’t know, my Grandpa is no longer with us… But my uncle Rodge still maintains the farm there, and used that building to store various pieces of farm equipment. Needless to say, he’s taking it rather hard, for more than one reason. You can see the shed in the background of this photo here, and read about the fire at the link below:

There’s also my Aunt, who has had a tumor in her head for some time now. They’ve thought they had it fixed on more than one occasion, but it seems that it is growing again. So I guess she’s back at the Mayo, going over options with the doctors.
Needless to say, not the best week for the fam.
