It’s been awhile since I wrote a series on rinsefirst… Heck, it’s been awhile since I made any sort of effort to update more than once per month. Kind of sad really.
I think going into the holiday season of Thanksgiving and Christmas though, I want to try to foster the spirit a little more than usual. I also want to document the transition to Christmas in the world. It’s such a crazy phenomenon how every year, every store, every life, everything goes through this process of preparing for Christmas.
So Yesterday officially was the 1st day of Christmas as I like to call it. Darin (my cousin) made his annual request for Christmas lists with hopes of getting all of them in time for Thanksgiving (and Black Friday). I haven’t noticed Christmas hit the real world yet… The only christmas music I’ve heard so far is coming from my computer and the one store I visited yesterday was still trying to sell off the last of it’s Halloween Candy (no Christmas stuff yet)… but I’m sure it’s coming.
Today is the second day of Christmas by my calendar… It’s also Amber’s birthday, which is her last major holiday before the Christmas Festivities begin (Thankgiving included).
When do you start to feel the Christmas spirit?
