Interesting implementation question: are the blocks fixed once they land? Otherwise the correct insertion velocity could nudge that L-block around 🙂 Go-go-Tetris-physics!
I would think the trick would be in building something level enough (and has Nathaniel said) that allowed for enough "wedging" that once you got past the curve, you could start building straight as normal… but I think that would no longer be hell then… Might need to draw the lines just a little bit more rounded to insure you can never clear a line.

No, just add wavy sides so that you can't fit a row in nicely and there will always be empty gaps.
