So it is Easter at last. I must say today was a very long day. I woke up at 4:00 am to arrive at church by 4:45. We then set up for an hour until the service at 6.
It was an amazing service put on by the highschool. The service worked in peoples lives all around me. I loved it. They loved it. It never ceases to amaze me just how strong the power of God’s love can be.
After that I wandered church for awhile looking for something but finding nothing. I then came home and ran into the same problem. This problem of not being able to find that which meets your needs can be very depressing.
Depressing to a point where you are not sure why you wait around for it. To get my mind off this sinkhole of thought, I commenced in webdesign for the church’s highschool website. I must say, that after 8-10 hours of coding, it is looking pretty good.
With a little work, it has the potential to be amazing. It has to be my best site design since the design of the Super Mario Royal Castle. I sure enjoyed it, and it took my mind off my troubles. Speaking of troubles, every run into troubles with food on holidays.
I am finding turkey to be very troublesome of the following reasons. One, it doesn’t taste that good. I mean, it is good, but not THAT good. Two, it creates a large amount of leftovers when not served to a large group. This means your eating food you might not like over and over again.
Three, its a lot of work that can make a mom very grumpy. For all these reasons, I vote that the default meal of every major holiday is now pasta. Thats right PASTA. It is cheap, efficient, and can be extremely tasty. I suggest we get this approved by congress immediantly if we hope to see any action on it in the 2002 legislature.
Have a Happy Easter all, and GOD BLESS!

I have got to get me a new alarm clock. One that can read my mind and knows exactly when I need to get up. I ended up waking up at 11, when I needed to be somewhere at 10.
That somewhere was church as we are preparing for an Easter service tommorow morning. Well, I got there late, just as everyone was going for pizza. I stayed back and worked on some stuff that needed to be printed.
Got the stuff printed and continued to hang with a few people just talking and being together. I love just hanging. It means so much to me to be able to just sit back, relax, and absorb.
After that I commenced in visiting another girls house where all of us church people watched Moulin Rouge, talked about life, and played Tetris. On the Tetris note, my friend didn’t do so hot, I played fine :-).
After that it is time to sleep, for I best not be late again tommorow…

Ok, the last thing I want to be anymore of today is on the computer. I spent a total of 11 hours on a computer working on comp sci homework. I know your all thinking, what? JJ? Stuck on Comp Sci homework?
Not exactly… I been helping this friend with her csci homework and today we really decided to go at it. To make the long story short, she still doesn’t understand Java, and the homework still ain’t done…
How disappointing. Now all I need is a little sleep and maybe all will be good… Wait I dont sleep, I code. I did actually finish the first part of the homework after I got home, but hey who cares?!? Love is more important…

Ok, so today turned out to be a good day… I woke up, went to school. Because MSA didn’t have school, I got thursday afternoon off.
I decided to head up to church because of the plans I made last night. Met up with Nikki, Sarah, and Anders and went out to Applebee’s.
Not quite what I am always hoping for, but hey it is a start. On a side note, a great debate was wonderfully started at Applebee’s.
The debate consisted of wether or not spliting an all you can eat meal is wrong. I guess I believe it is wrong, but my friends did it anyway and well no one seemed to care.
Oh well to that I guess. My friend’s also set up what appeared to be a really cool prayer walk at the church. I would have atteneded but another friend wanted to meet me at my house at 4.
I was shocked to hear the news that this friend had broken up with his long time girlfriend and well, yeah… Not sure what more to say about that. Econ homework was well.. boring. I really should get more sleep…

School is really getting old. Why should I keep going? I woke up late as always and so I drove, and drove some more. Not much really happened except I got to go out with friends that night…
Boy was that interesting. First we switch our major plans from the Mall of America to Wendys. There we discuss a moving picture toy that we got, some other interesting table talk, and well just plain fun.
We then all got into cars, me the only one by myself, and drove to a place called Lava Links for some fun. To make the first part of this story short, I got seperated from the group and ended up getting a form of lost.
When I found them, they had decided to switch to Aladdin’s Castle for their arcade pleasures. When I went to move my car to Aladdin’s, I ended up giving a guy a jump in the parking lot.
That has to rank as one of the coolest things you can ever do for somebody. The downside was his alternator was shot so, the moment he turned his headlights on it would die… Aladdin’s Castle was ok.
It was just good to be with friends… I did make one mistake today though, well two. First, was I should have been more assertive in my actions with a certain girl. Second, was that I should have started that 1500 words I had to write before I left.
Luckily, I got it all done by 1.

2 days back in school and I am not excited at all. The school work is being as boring as always. So, I left early and went into MSA.
There I got ArcIMS working on a more permanent basis. All I need now are NT cals and it should be ready for May Term. On that note: I even made my own map service.
I was so proud of it as well. Other than that, all is good, all is well, I just wish that I hadn’t missed Coffee Talk…
