Friday Night Returns

November 30th, 2002

So people thought friday night movie night at JJ’s had died with the summer. I proved that theory wrong. After having what proved to be a really unevent day here at home, I was invited to have a small group of people over for movies and such. So we called the peeps, we invited them over, and over they came. So John, Beth, Nikki, Sim *briefly*, Mel, and PK all stopped in to watch a Muppet Christmas on NBC and then a movie which its two word title is escaping me. The Bounce? The … hmmm oh well. Either way, it was pretty good.

I think I am going to stop this post here. Mainly, this is because I am tired and have to be awake tommorow morning to work on a project. This should be fun. So I am going now. Goodnight.

Turkey Day

November 29th, 2002

Today was Turkey day. I ate turkey. I ate food. I ate. I ate more. I ate even more than that. This is what I did. I also finished my room. It’s pretty cool in my mind to have a clean room again for multiple reasons. Number 1: Due to the removal of some furniture and junk, my floor space has increased. This means more room for friends, legos, and just plain fun. It also gives me the feeling that my room is larger.

The Number 2 thing that changed in my room was the lighting. I rearranged some plug-ins and some lights so that now my room is lit by christmas lights when you throw the lightswitch as opposed to the lights in the middle of my room turning on. I also changed the bulb in my closet to be a black light as opposed to the white light we normally had. This change in lighting gives my room more of a club like feel, not to mention the arrangement of speakers in my room to again give it a club like feel… Wait a second.. maybe my room is now a mini club.. what do ya know :-).

The rest of the house is also being torn apart to be rearranged. Nothing to big though, just some exercise equipment. Hopefully that will be all done by tommorow because I hope to maybe have some people over in the afternoon. Who knows.

So I suppose the last thing I should mention here is what I am thankful for this year. The number one thing on my list is my family. I have a great family that loves me and lets me get away with treating them with relatively little time. They push me to do my best and I push them to tolerate it :-). I love them, they love me. Second on my list are my friends: Sim, Nikki, Amber, Maria, PK, Derek, Mel, John, Jon, Alex, Beth, Rob, Jordan, Brian, Jerimiah, Kimmy, Chrissy, Nikki, Julie, Matt, Shayla, Dan, Ian, Megan, Katie, Jessami, Chris, Emily, Brendan, Brendon, David, Ben, Mike, Cory, Nick, Mikey, Kyle, Sarah, Anders, Yulia, Kevin, and anyone else that escaped my mind while trancing over my past year. Life is good, God is good. God is Great!

A new system

November 27th, 2002

Slowly but surely I am adding new features to this site. The one added today is pretty minor, but pretty cool if your a common reader of this site. The problem with it though is that you have to know something about past hidden things to figure it out. I can’t wait to show the people that I know have found it this new feature, and I can’t wait to add the code that removes the workaround for this new feature. Either way, it is there for all you people to hunt for.

Today as a day hasn’t been much of one at all. I woke up an hour early because I forgot how to tell time. I then went to school and watched rats and dogs get cut open and played with. If you ever thought that it was cruel to beat an animal, just wonder what its like to have your chest cavity cut open while still alive. Either way, thats school for ya.

I then came home and went to dinner with my family. There we played cards and talked and um… yeah, that was it.

I then came home again. Amy had the computer, so I went and watched Monsters Inc. Not a half bad movie. I think I want to learn how to make 3D hair. Either way, now I am here. Now I wait for tomorrow. Now I… code? watch another movie? clean? dance the jig? who knows… as long as it isn’t thinking..

Post 225

November 26th, 2002

It’s hard to believe, but this is post 225. I don’t know how I got here or where it will go from here, but hey, we can only continue to go up from here! Let’s see… What did I do with the rest of my day, and what kind of weird questions can I write about for Kimmy to read in her spare school time?

Well, Nikki and her Bros spent the evening DDRing with me. Maybe I have it backwards. Kind of like that Simpson’s Road Rage game. Everything in that is backwards. I think they had a good time.

Ok, did anyone see that white space? I did… oops, I will just have to be more careful with my typing. Yeah, other than that I spent the rest of my night talking with my parents about my insurance costs, college, and my plans for my future. Oh yeah! and I chatted with Amber!!! She updated again, which is always cool in my book and gives me something to read as opposed to write. I should do what she does on her site sometime and give a shout out to people and thank them for everything they do for me. However, I think this is one of those things I would prefer to do on an individual level for now and thank them publicly by mentioning the good things to do for me on this site. For example, Amber rocks because she is so open with me about what she thinks about my life and about hers and because she updates her diary to keep me up to date when I can’t talk to her. Very cool I tell ya, very cool.

Now for the very important topic of tonight’s late night post: Why the heck does bottled pop taste different than can popped. I figure maybe one form of storage preserves the pop better than the other. It could also be that airflow in bottles over the top allows for a different taste. It could even be that there are two different rescipes for bottled pop and canned pop. Well, given that one of these must be true, I wonder which one it is. Think about it: if they are really perserved better in one than the other, which form of the pop is actually the correct taste? Which one tastes most like the pop coming right out of the big machine at Pepsi Cola Inc.? This mind boggling question can only be answered by a simple test by non other than yours truely. Therefore: If you work for Pepsi, Coke, or some other bottling company, and you want me to promote how your pop has the freshest taste, please email me and I will give you my address so you can ship me free samples of your entire line in all forms of packaging so that I can taste test which ones taste the best and which ones taste most like the pop you intended to send me. How will I know what you intended to send me? I will take an average of all the pops, through it out the window, and lie to your face about which one tastes most like it. This way, you get the data your looking for without really caring, and I get the free pop I am looking for. Sound good? Great.

Another thing just popped into my head and because I don’t know if I mentioned it earlier today, I think I will mention it now. Culivers opened just 10 miles away from me. I had there butterburgers for lunch, and I must say they are still one of my top fast food burgers. Their custard only helps to promote my dining habbits there. Ah yes… Why am I thinking about food.. I just had pizza 10 minutes ago. Oh well.

Oh look, another thing popped into my head to mention as well. Julie stopped by today while I was working at MSA. She is doing fine it seems so that’s all I really had to say about that. I cut my finger while she was there but didn’t realize it until about 10 minutes later when there were red spots all over Jerimiah’s computer and I couldn’t figure out where they were coming from. Ah yes, fresh blood :-). Exorcist. It is amazing how your days thoughts make full loops ya know… ok so you dont. Does this post make ANY sense?

Lets see… ok.. only one more thing.. I mean it. PK has started to update again it seems. For that I give him a shout out. There also seems to be a new journal on the web: Dan has now started to update his own site. Pretty cool. Ok, anything else to mention? Will there be a new Onus soon about Sim and his cleaning room missions? Will Justin ever go to bed today? How much wood could a wood chuck chuck? Does Disney have it right in the Little Mermaid? These are the thoughts on my mind. I am sorry you had to read them.

Am I really Working?

November 26th, 2002

Here I am at MSA. Wow. Anyone surprised. It is your standard tuesday afternoon so what do you expect from me. I chatted with Kimmy, a girl that I think that I mentioned here before. She is a friend of Maria’s *and therefore a friend of mine* from Germany. I want everyone to wish her a happy birthday. She turns the big 16 *WOOT*.

Julie stopped in as well while I was here. Always interesting to talk to her. Just thought I would mention it. I thought it was kind of ironic considering I had been thinking of talking to her about something anyway. Yet, I still didn’t do it. That’s ok, Self-restraint is a good thing in this case :-). Either way, I am out again. I might start doing more of these short posts if I am around computers more.

Well, its over

November 26th, 2002

Well, my mind has officially left for thanksgiving break now. I just finished a Polisci test which I again have no clue as to how well I did on it. I now have 1 more class today (in about 5 minutes) and 1 more class tommorow. Neither of these classes should take anymore than 2 minutes of brainpower and will not provide me with any homework. So thats all good. I know this isn’t much of a post, but hey I have to get to class so.
