Optimizing Church

April 30th, 2003

Ok, this won’t be a long post but because I’m about the leave the U of M, I thought I would update.

Nikki and Amber are at the concert. Amber just called and said that the retreat is over prom which SUCKS, but we’ll figure something out.

Church is in an hour.. I better get there…

My code is down to 30 seconds. Thats good. Bye

An earlier start

April 30th, 2003

I’m going to try to get an earlier start to today. There is a lot to be done so I best be on my way.

I would like to finish some homework for CSCI. This means spending a good chunk of time in the computer lab at the U of M. I hope to get there shortly with about an hour to work on it before class, and then maybe work on it again after class.

There are 3 things, however, that are getting in my way of working on it after class. The first thing, is that right after class I have to go to Lind 128 for some registration thing. I’m a little annoyed that they are treating me like a freshman, but what can you do. As long as I get to register soon… Very very soon.

The second thing on my agenda requires being in woodbury. I have to go to the Bakery and take some pictures. I told them 3:00 but it looks like I probably won’t make that. I’ll have to show up late, probably more like 5:00 and grab them on my way to church. Church would be the third thing on my agenda for tonight. That should at least be fun.

I’ll miss Amber and Nikki tonight as they are out having fun with Matchbox Twenty. I hope they have a great time and that they get some great pictures.

OK, well… time for me to depart. Later

Jolly Jolly Ranchers

So tonight’s update is coming to you live from my basement, where the Wild are playing the Canucks. It’s currently 3-2 Canucks, but I have faith in the ability of the Wild. Go WILD!

Before I was here, I was at Damon’s with Nikki and Amber. We were going to do the normal trivia thing, but they didn’t have it tonight because of the massive number of playoff games on TV tonight. We had fun anyway, just hanging out, chatting, discovering interesting touch points, and stealing silverware.

730 left now.. we are still down by one… Its getting tense..

500 minutes remaining..

400 minutes

1 minute…

16 seconds and no goalie…

:-(

Endless Possible Plans

April 29th, 2003

Don’t really know what I am going to do tonight, but while I am waiting for John to get out of class so I can go home, I thought I would list some of my better options.

Trivia Night at Damons

Stay Home, watch Jag/Frasier, and eat Dominoes Pizza

If it stays warm enough: perhaps go out a park and blade

I should go to MSA and start building a new server *but not tonight*

Ill probably go to DA to take some pictures…

Well John’s here, so time to go. THE KID WANTS TO PAY 273$$$$$ for sunglasses. THE KID IS NUTZ

Well. Math lab went well. I found out I’m rank 9 in my class, which is good. If I can boost that 2 or 3 more notchs by the end of the semester I should get an A. That would be nice.

John has been updating more than me in the last 72 hours. I think that should be taken as a challenge that I need to update more again. Then again, He is something like 300 posts behind me, so he has a way to go before he catches up.

What I find interesting about his updates though are that they are slowly but surely getting longer. I think it’s a side affect of starting to do this over and over again. You start getting good at rambling about whatever is on your mind. For example, this entire paragraph was next to pointless for anyone because the point of it was to state an observation made that in reality probably has no bearing on anyone’s life what so ever.

I just spent the last 15 minutes walking to my car to get my wallet. Lately I haven’t been caring it, probably as way to prevent myself from spending money. I used to have this theory that said if I wasn’t carring money, I wouldn’t buy anything. Sound theory.

The problem with not having your wallet though is that when you need something like your ID card, you don’t have it. So you have to walk to wherever you are keeping your wallet and hope that it’s there. For me, I’m almost always within range of my car, so I just leave that stuff in my car. However, I think I will go back to my watch, wallet, phone, keys, check. That way I’m always carrying everything I need.

I should be meeting up with PK in a few minutes here. He has my fight club DVD’s hopefully.

This post I think is done. Bye bye.

James: Status Report Mr. Spock

Spock: It seems captain, that we have managed to finish our lab report in time for starfleet command. They said since we did that, we can dock.

James: Then make it so Mr. Spock, this ship needs a good shower.. I mean washing.

Spock: Aye yi Captain

James: Mr. Scott, how are my engines doing?

Scotty: They’re still a little clogged with that muckus stuff we picked up on galaxian prime, but she’ll hold together.

James: Alright, Mr. Sulu, status report.

Sulu: Everything fine here captain, we’re right on course for today.

James: Communications

Ohera: It seems captain that we are getting a distress call from some location. It’s hard to make out what it’s saying and it’s the same one we’ve been hearing for some time. What would you like me to do about it captain?

James: Take note of it in the logs and continue to ignore it. I have a feeling that distress call only means our certain doom.

Ohera: Aye Yi Captain

James: Doctor, have you found anyway to get rid of the muckus thats now infecting our ship and members?
Mccoy: Dammit Jim, I’m working as hard as I can, and we seem to be finding things that are working, but give me time. I’m a doctor Jim, not a miracle worker!

James: you’ve got 5 minutes. Chekov, status report.
Chekov: Armed and ready.. Hey what’s this button do…
James: Uh… Chekov…
*Pushes Button*
Chekov: Oh I see.. it ends this post…
