No Movie Night
May 31st, 2003
BLAH BLAH BLAH. I wanted to be having movie night right now but my dad had to come home and say no. No movie night. ERG. Frustrating, but I’ll get over it. On the upside, I get to sleep earlier then and maybe be awake for tomorrows graduation breakfast. Interesting trade.
Shout out to Sim for changing the front page of JR Corps. We lost a few links in the process… Something that may need to be fixed, but.. Other than that.. Looks pretty cool. Throughly impressed yet again by Sim’s artistic talent. And not to play complete catchup, but congrats to him as well for being athlete of the week. It’s about time someone started recognizing your ability to beating anyone at any sport in a matter of minutes :-). Olympics 2008?
Speaking of Sim, he started a rant about the abilities of our gym students at MSA. I quite agree and am just saying things to make things maybe more interesting. I don’t really know how much it matters when your forty if you were able to hit a triple in 12th grade. Maybe it would if you were in the majors… Who knows…
Yesterday, saw Finding Nemo with Amber’s cousin Jack and his friend Michael. They had a good time, as did we. I was amazed and a tad bit outraged by the amount of money it takes to go see a movie with any sense of style. Especially considering that 99% of the time I would be just as happy seeing it at home. Being with the little guys made it worth it though. I helped them play Time Crisis and Amber helped them Race in the Arcade. We even gave them Icee’s which, for future refrence, might not always be the smartest thing to give kids.
Afterwards we came back to Jack’s house and played gameboy for awhile. The fact that the GBA/SP supports single pack linking, unlike its predecesor, means a lot in my mind. Yeah, maybe it cost them some multiplayer money, but on the other hand, it made the cable more vaulable. Who knows, but it was cool.
Amber and I then came back here and watched a little TV. Nothing was really on, so we just enjoyed each other’s company. Afterwards we said our goodnights and goodbyes for the weekend. She went to a grad party with her dad and won’t be back till tomorrow.
Man, haven’t even got to what has happened today yet. I set my alarm last night to wake me up at 830 this morning. I knew then I had something go on today. When the alarm went off this morning, I looked at it and thought, oh… it’s saturday, why am I getting up to go to softball. So I went back to bed. WRONG ANSWER. I had play practice this morning *DOH*. Sod a Dog. So I rushed out the door with literally less than 15 minutes till the time they were starting, which was an hour and a half after when I was supposed to be there. I then spent the rest of the day portion of today doing just that.. Practing sound for the play. I’m not sure whether or not I like it, so for right now, unless the actors get their jobs together and seem a little more excited and into their characters, I will have to give it 2 out of 4 stars. However, I do think it will improve before opening night, and as we get more into it.
After that I stopped up at church to finish a presentation for senior sunday tomorrow. WOOT! Well kinda. We got it working in both rooms so it should go well. Yay is what I have to say about that. You know… even from the aspect of church I’m not really graduating. You can bet I’ll be there next year as well. Helping Derek with any computer problems I can, maybe helping the new Youth out. Maybe just hanging and enjoying any free food I can find. Heck, I could just be there to spend another year in small group with my girlfriend, maybe helping us to learn how to pray together *A goal I hope to one day achieve*.
I’m kinda interested and I don’t know if there is anyone that reads this site that would either be willing to share, or has a gf/bf that makes this possible. But here’s the poll. Do you pray with your significant other? If so, any suggestions, if not, why?
Let’s see. I had another brilliant insight about a minute ago… What was it. Maybe if I keep typing I will figure it out. Yep, there it is. I have determined it sounds cooler on a laptop keyboard if you type at a steadying beat and kinda hit them fairly hard. It’s almost as if your typing on a real type writer. Not really. Well sorta… Eh. Just felt like typing it so that maybe you could enjoy it for your typing pleasure. I also realized that while typing a good portion of this post I use my right hand a lot more than my left. Go figure. Again thought it may just feel like I use my right more. Who knows.
I kinda feel like speed typing. I haven’t done that in awhile. Eh, it’s a little overly airy because I can’t read and think as fast as I can type. Well, I don’t think I can. I don’t really know what’s wrong with my ability to type but I stop in the middle of words with the easiest spellings like with or the. Weird huh?
I think I’m going to go lay down now and see if anything comes up for tonight. I don’t think I can go out either. It’s almost as if my dad is mad at me. Later post.
Countdown to Fishy’s
May 30th, 2003
5 —– Hours remain until I see finding Nemo with Amber, Jack, and Michael.. Man, Amber has all these cute guys following her everywhere she goes ;-), at least I know she’s mine.
4 —– People will be going. I’m a little curious about food, but perhaps we’ll just get popcorn and pig out on that throughout the movie. Whatever the case, I’ll be ready for it.
3 —– times today I got to kick in kickball today. Didn’t even get out once. Great game, we won. I kind of enjoyed kickball more than I did softball… It’s more open, and a little more fun to see people getting nailed with the ball. On top of that, it’s a little more high scoring, and evens the playing field for those clumsy 7th graders who can’t swing a bat… On a minor note with that.. those same people were found falling backward when trying to kick the ball today.
2 —– people arrived at my house yesterday. Both my grandparents. They will be staying with us until they can get the trailer back and my grandpa is in full health. He had a fall that did a lot of knee damage. He’s getting better though, something we pray for everyday. I always enjoy my grandparents staying with us. More household choirs get done that I would have had to do otherwise :-), ok so that’s wrong.. but it’s true… On top of that, they make for great conversationalists after school or at breakfast, or just about any other time of the day. Grandparents just rock in my book.
1 —– week remains of my highschool career. So what did you all think of a full year of posts, witnessing almost every day, and surely every week of my life between the beginning and end of my not so senior year at MSA. Really? You didn’t think I went to MSA based on what you read… huh.. that’s funny… I think your right though, I think I wrote the words U of M more than MSA… who knows..
Ok, well I got some household chores to finish before my funfilled exciting afternoon.
Laterz.
Busy Busy
May 28th, 2003
I like it when life is busy. It makes me feel like I’m accomplishing things. So because I have some time here to update, let’s get going.
Let’s start with the past few days. Monday, I again went out on the boat with Amber’s family. This time they did some fishing while we relaxed and talked and just enjoyed the summer life. Afterwards, we went back to Amber’s house and had some grilled food. After that we spent some time in the hot tub. All in all a GREAT day.
Yesterday, was even better, as they seem to get with each day that passes. I woke up in the morning with a fever, which is never a good thing, but despite it I went to class anyway. As soon as it was over I dipped out and headed home and took a nap. That did a lot for me. Got me a least feeling well enough to go out. I then went and got Amber from school and we went back to her house and studied. Her mom then called and informed us of some Twin’s tickets we could enjoy. So we grabbed them up and headed out. Got a little lost, but overall made it both there and back pretty well. Jack was there, I felt bad telling him I couldn’t be there for his softball game tomorrow due to a BOD meeting I have tomorrow night. BLAH is what I have to say to that. At least we get to go see Nimo on friday. That should be a blast.
Ryan and Nathan along with the rest of Woodbury Lutheran’s baseball squad was there as well. That was pretty cool. I was hoping I would run into the crew we worked with the first time we were there, but that’s ok… Seeing them was funny enough.
It would seem though today that I again have loads of things to do. In a moment here I will head home and start working my way down my list. It could turn out to be a challenge. Here’s what my schedule looks like for the next few weeks as far as I know.
Thursday, May 29th - MSA Board Meeting, 5:30 to finish, or my resignation.

Monday June 9th - First day of true vacation, let’s enjoy it for a few days
Thursday June 12th - Brush up rehersal from 6 to 9
Friday June 13th - Play from 630 to 930, call at 730
Saturday June 14th, 1pm call, 200pm curtain.. We have a slight dilemma in that The ball is at 530…. And there is another call at 630… I am clearly going to the ball, because it’s a prior engagement, the question is, who will we get to fill in for me… on closing night… BAH. I hate getting double booked, especially on accident.
So it going to be busy the next few weeks. But either way. I’m going to head home now, right after I talk to Minsley as to how to deal with this conflict. Bye Bye.
Blown Away

May 26th, 2003
I really need to get off this early morning posting spree. Perhaps try for something DURING the day :-). This one will again be short, but sweet..
I love being able to let myself out of someone else’s home. I love being able to feel comfortable there. I love how my someone can fall asleep with head and arms wrapped in mine. I love tucking her in. I love letting myself after spending a night just holding her. I love her.
Well because I don’t really have the motivation to type, and because I need to wake up to being with Derek’s Dog, I am going to quote a song, right after I list some stuff.
Things left at Amber’s - swimsuit, shirt
Things to do tomorrow - Send Minsley’s email, Build slide show, get film developed, walk the dog, upload pictures, help beth?, something with Amber, Nikki, or Sim?, Finish cleaning car.
Things left in my car that should be returned - Amber’s Yearbook, Nikki’s Adapter, Amy’s Gameboy
Number of cuts on my feet - 3.
She may be the face I can’t forget
The trace of pleasure or regret
May be my treasure or the price I have to pay
She may be the sun on summer sets
May be the chill in Autumn breeze
May be a hundred different things
Within the measure of a day
She may be the beauty or the beast
May be the phantom or the feast
May turn each day into a heaven or a hell
She may be the mirror of my dreams
The smile reflected in a stream
She may not be what she may seem inside a shell
She, who always seems so happy in her ground
Whose eyes can be so brighter then so brown
No one’s allowed to she them when they cry
She, may be the love that can’t hope to last
May come or leave from shadows of the past
But I’ll remember till the day I day
She, may be the reason I survive
The why and where for and a (lie)
The one I care for through the ruff in many years
Me, I’ll take her laughter and her tears
And make them all my souvenirs
‘Cause where she goes I’ve got to be
The meaning if my life is she
You Complete Me

So, I will say a few words, and hopefully update big later. The incoherency of my last post is explained by how awake I still am now. I think this might be the first time the time stamp will be from 4 in the morning. Thats crazy man.. Crazzyyy.
Prom was, amazing. Phenominal. Spectacular. Amber was 10 times that. No, more. 100… Infinitiy? AMAZING, BEWILDERING, CARING, DARING, EXCITING, FUNKY, GREAT, HAPPY, IRRESISTABLE, JUSTINS, KILLER, LOVELY, MEGA, NARLY, OUTSTANDING, PRETTY, QUIRKY ;-), ROCKSTEADY, STARRYEYED, TASTY (melon flavored chapstick, yum :-)) , UNIQUE, (my) VALENTINE, WOW, XXX, YOUTHFUL, ZING-ZAP-ZOOP (in other words, shes got it all).
Derek’s at 9, so I sleep. My love to Amber, my girl.
