I don’t really know why I am updating. Nothing really new has happened. I built my first processor. Not much of one, but it has memory, it has a clock, and it is capable of adding 1. It’s basically a very very low end 2-bit processor… Or, a 2 bit counter if you will. Still more than I ever thought I would get into with Flip-Flops/etc. I think I will go purchase a few more of these flip flops and see if I can’t get to something like 8 bits or 16bits. Then maybe see if I can start building an ALU. That would be cool…
Basement is clean enough for movie night if it happens. I’m just waiting for the good word to call people about what time and how late. We all have to get up for church at 8 tomorrow so… I thought about a sleep over, but to many people and not enough advanced warning to say.. get the guest bed’s ready or warn people.
Well I’m off again to get away from this machine… Maybe take another shower before going out :-). *I like showers almost as much as I like sleeping*

The first time someone told me that anyone was able to have a website for free that I thought they were lying. It was my cousin and I was probably, lets see… in 5th grade at the time. Tripod then only offered 200k of webspace, not much when you think about it. But it was enough for us to build a small little site over his slow 28.8 connection to AOL 3.0. Over the year’s, tripod started giving us more memory 500k, 1 meg, 5 megs, 11 megs *to out do geocities*, and now I think they offer something like 50. I even got a free t-shirt from them once. My web escapades grew from that first site at http://GrapoDoughboy.tripod.com/. They went from Tripod and 1 hit a week, to isd where I was getting in the 30’s a day with the SMRC, to now JR Corps, my own server, where the SMRC is getting up to 100hits/day. To this day though, it was that night at my cousin’s house that got me started in programming…
